Made to celebrate a friend's new arrival some years ago. I created the letters in Wordart.. several times, on a trial and error basis, to make sure they would fit on an A5 (5" x 7") card.. printing them onto card, stamped in pink then sparkly heat embossed, chalked all over to add a hint of pink, cut out individually and inked around the edges, positioned landscape on the card blank, then cut around the word as a whole. Then I added embellishments, ribbon and brads. You might just be able to see that I die-cut some letters from the Quickutz Eliza alphabet to spell 'Jessica', stuck them to a piece of acetate and attached them to the card with glue dots, concealed with shiny, puffy fabric stars. Brads would work, too, but I didn't want the metal 'legs' to show inside the card.
