Data Protection & Privacy Policy

Legal information is boring, but it is important that you read this, as - if you follow my blog, or leave a comment on a post - assumptions apply that you agree with this policy insofar as it affects use of your personal data and my liabilities pertaining to it.

DATA PROTECTION AND PRIVACY POLICY
This Data Protection and Privacy Policy applies to all content on this blog, in order to comply with the GDPR (General Data Protection Regulations) currently in force in the European Union. This policy is subject to change without notice and was last updated on 5 December 2018.

In summary, this is a private, non-profit blog where I showcase the items I produce from my personal crafting hobbies. None of these items are promoted for sale on this blog, nor are they displayed to promote any third party craft manufacturer's products**.
Please be aware that taking part in any activity on my blog other than browsing the content implies agreement with this Data Protection and Privacy Policy. If you do not agree with this policy, you are kindly asked not to follow the blog or leave comments on posts, which would require your leaving your personal information.

Please note also that, although my blog content is child-friendly, I am not responsible for the welfare of children visiting my blog, nor the protection of their personal data. I do moderate all comments prior to publication on the blog, but it is not always possible to determine the age of the participant. If I become aware that a child has left a comment, or followed my blog, I will delete their information immediately.

** 26/11/2019: I have just started a Facebook group for Crafty Individuals, a company supplying crafting products, and will be promoting that group on my blog. For details of Crafty Individual's privacy/data protection policies, please visit their website HERE

FOR THOSE LEAVING COMMENTS ON BLOG POSTS
Those leaving comments do so in the knowledge that, in addition to their comment, their name and link to their profile or blog are visible to viewers of the post comments, thereby consenting to the use of their personal information for that purpose.
Blogger itself provides an option for all users to delete comments they leave on any blog. If you wish to delete your published comments from my blog, you are free to do so. If any technical difficulty occurs, you should contact Blogger or Google to solve these problems.
I have comment moderation switched on. Disturbing, violent, offensive or advertising comments will not be approved and will not be published on my blog. Any such comments will be deleted immediately.
