Congratulations card

Made for a FB group challenge last autumn. It's a watercolour background with splashy bits, the text block (sideways on the card) is computer-generated and stamped over with a Bee Crafty grunge border in Versafine Onyx Black. The silver cord wrapping helps to conceal some stamping 'errors'! The scribbled circle dies are Tim Holtz/Sizzix Thinlits. On a couple of them, I have trimmed off the outer ring, and the eye is extracted from a photo I took, photoshopped and doodled to within an inch of its life! The card above is a version I made yesterday. I decided the original (pic below) needed something in the bottom right corner, and I needed a third circle (ref. the Rule of Three, which is usually about writing but works with artworks, too).

Birthday Rosebuds

2018's birthday card for my Aunt... An A5 card with pale pink watercolour background, with lots of speckled paint splashes. Background stamps from Bee Crafty - Grunge Border and Distressed Mini Diamonds (3rd generation stamping on the harlequin), a Tim Holtz/Sizzix die-cut frame on 3D pads (embossed with a Cuttlebug damask folder), two fussy-cut rosebuds (can't recall the stamp manufacturer), and computer-generated greeting.

ALMOST new card!

This one almost doesn't have any recycling on it at all.. Almost. You know how when you're stamping you have some old piece of scrap for taking off excess ink, trying out images together, etc? Yes? Well, I quite liked the collagey look of one area on my piece of scrap, so I cut it out and used it! lol ;o) I think that's allowed. It's the grungy bit in the middle...

My fave harlequin stamp again, plus the Hero Arts friendship text (repeat stamped), and Judikins (I think) 'Field of Sky' used randomly around the edges for the dots.. gives a nice, vintage-looking finish. Sizzlits die-cut leaves and a BG button.
