Eiffel Tower Valentines

These were made for a commission about seven years ago. It was for a male colleague who had proposed to his wife on the Eiffel Tower during a visit to Paris. How romantic! Makes me go all gooey inside!

Obviously, I used the same stamps in both cards for the tower and the Valentine. The image above was second generation, then drawn around for extra definition, layered onto silver mirror card, and used silver elasticated cord, paper rosebuds and some tiny red heart stickers.

This card is slightly different, in that the Tower image is stamped with Versafine Onyx Black, then heat embossed with clear powder, then mounted on 3D pads for dimension. The embellishments are almost identical, except that I've included a pearl spray. There is also a co-ordinating box, which would have worked with whichever card he chose.
