I won the Stempelglede Card Contest...

See, I knew that would get your attention! Ha! ;o) We-ell, actually.. not quite. I didn't win any of the main prizes by merit, BUT Gunhild very kindly offered ten additional prizes for a random draw, and I was fortunate enough to be among the winners. This is what I chose... The beautiful 'Maribel' stamp. Isn't she lovely? I doubt she'll get across the North Sea from Norway before Christmas, but what a treat to look forward to in the New Year! :o)

Me again Chris

Meant to add that no, I did not copy the big Tim with the roses, had no idea about his turorial until Leah suggested that might be the case.

Perhaps he was at my last demo, did you see him?? I wish.

Lol!! Yes, I know what you mean! Somehow, I don't think I'd have got near the place if Tim had been there!! Papyrus Road would have been queuing back to the roundabout!!

I hadn't previously been aware of Tim Holtz's tutorial either, although I had seen a couple of other similar tutorials, so it's obviously been around and reproduced by different people. Punch art like this has been around for years. But you've taken this technique and made it even more beautiful, with the use of stamens, etc. I love what you've done with them.

Hugs,
Chris xx

P.S. If anyone's wondering what we're on about, see the rose in the last but one previous post.
